I am passionate about exploring different styles and techniques to create unique and inspiring designs. One of my proudest achievements is the clothing brand I founded ‘REFERENCE’, which reflects my own personal style and creative vision.
Inspiration
My clothing brand draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including luxury fashion and streetwear. I am particularly drawn to the boldness and simplicity of Virgil Ablohs work with Off-White. By combining these elements, I have created a collection that is both sophisticated and urban, with a unique blend of textures, colors, and shapes.
Techniques:
In terms of design techniques, I like to experiment with different fabrics, patterns, and details to create pieces that are both functional and visually appealing. I pay close attention to the cut and fit of each garment, ensuring that they suit a variety of body types and sizes. I also like to incorporate other elements, such as bold graphics and unified design features, to make the collection feel cohesive.
NFTs:
I believe that this blockchain technology will change the way we think about fashion and the ownership of physical goods. That’s why I incorporated the technology into my clothing brand.
How we use them
NFTs enable the resale of the ‘digital item’ on the secondary market. By owning an NFT associated with an item of clothing, the owner has the ability to sell it on a secondary market, giving others the opportunity to own a piece of our brand – without initially purchasing the physical item of clothing. This creates a new level of rarity and exclusivity for the brand and the potential for customers to profit of References growth.
NFT holders gain access to an exclusive club, where they can connect with other like-minded individuals and receive special perks.
“Made in Italy”:
Through working one-on-one with a supplier in Perugia, Italy I designed and manufactured a sample Knitted Sweater.
I Rocchi, established in 1977, is family run textiles business that specialise in high quality fabrics and manufacturing techniques. By using this supplier, I can ensure that my garments are of the highest quality, made from the finest cotton and will stand the test of time.
